A projection of the films entered for the competition was held for the jury in the morning at the Cinéma l’Archipel. In collaboration with the Association Anne Marie Rallion IME COURS HERVE, we organized an afternoon reading of ecology fairy tales and a projection of animated short- length features for children as well as mentally disabled adolescents and young adults . There were twenty children, mentally disabled adolescents and young adults between 6 and 20 years old.
Machinimas Evenning
The end of the day was dedicated to the Machinimas. The evening was organized by our partners : Movies.fr, David Vannier and Richard Gennevois who presented and demonstrated the Movies Storm software. Movies.fr is a website devoted to The Movies and Moviestorm software permitting the Machinmas creation for a live audience. The site’s forum allows direct communication with other filmmakers so that they can also create and direct their own Machinima films and to participate in festivals all year-round. In addition to festivals, TheMovies.fr also proposes other activities such as bimonthly shows and Machinima reviews.
