Since 2010, Festival du Film Merveilleux has harnessed the power of wonder to advance cultural sustainability and global cooperation. Our initiatives align with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions — a legally binding international framework recognizing the unique nature of cultural activities as vehicles of identity, values, and meaning. We are the home of exceptional programming and a showcase for creative work: unique storytelling, incredible films, and cutting-edge digital experiences. Founded by Bénédicte Beaugeois and Maureen Gerby, two childhood friends with a shared vision for cinema that transforms.
